Lassi in general is a yogurt based drink. Lassi can be sweet or salty. Lassi served in restaurants is tasty no doubt, sometimes there can be a lot of added sugar which we all can do without. When you make it at home you can limit the sugar and still make it delicious.

Most of us order lassi while dining in Indian restaurants. Indian food and lassi is a great combination together. This drink is a sweet tangy concoction of mangoes and yogurt spiked with cardamom and saffron. Few ingredients and a blender is all you need to make this drink. Yogurt has Probiotic cultures and is gut-friendly. This is a quick drink that can be made when there are unexpected guests, in that case have a can or two of the mango puree which can be handy.
