By now most of you know my love affair with rose flavor. Totally love it. Growing up my family and I used to have rose milkshakes at a local restaurant in my hometown. The taste is still vivid in my memory.

I prefer yogurt to milk anyday, hence tried making rose lassi with homemade yogurt.

Very easy to make and is great to serve at parties. It is also good during summers as yogurt and rose has excellent cooling properties. I served this drink at my website launch party and my guests raved about it.

This recipe is healthy and I have used the right amount of sugar. You can always add more if you prefer to suit your taste buds. Adding honey or maple syrup as a sweetener is also another option for those watching refined sugar intake.

This drink can be made more fancy and rich by adding chopped pistachios. You can serve drizzling rose syrup or a scoop or two of pistachio or rose ice cream.

Let’s start making this yummy drink.

The famous proverb "you are what you eat” as quoted by the French author Anthelme Brillat-Savarin is very true. Food nourishes you from the inside out. Good health is of utmost importance to me. Vegetarianism and Veganism are gaining immense popularity these days. Natural, organic, healthy and homemade is my mantra.
